Artisan Sewing and Fashion Academy is a sewing and fashion education studio dedicated to helping makers build lifelong skills, confidence, and creativity.

We offer instruction in beginning sewing, garment construction, patternmaking, fitting, textiles, and advanced fashion techniques, along with personalized guidance for individual projects and emerging designers.

Our clients range from teens and adult beginners to experienced sewists, aspiring fashion designers, and anyone who wants to develop their skills and bring their creative ideas to life.

Your instructor, Beth Prokop, has more than a decade of teaching, 30+ years of industry experience, and holds both a BA in Costume Design and an MFA in Fashion Design. She works with emerging brands to bring concepts to market, is a garment fit and construction specialist and patternmaker. She is proud to have students build fashion portfolios for school acceptance. Most importantly, she is passionate about helping students reach their goals.

At Artisan, we teach skills—not just projects—so students gain the knowledge and confidence to create independently.
